Polka Doodles Challenge...pink and brown......

I decided to do some different shaped cards for a few days ....try one with a wrap...one with a crossover front..tied with ribbon ....not easy doing the photography so please forgive and use a bit of imagination?.....

this is the card open with one of the front flaps bent to the back to help it stand upright....
I have used the Kanban Language of flowers kit ....such a shame about Kanban....
will post the next card tomorrow.

Christmas Card Club challenge..Clare use some Kraft

ooh not in my comfort zone for christmas but sure love the challenge thank you Clare...so inspired by Sue Wilson I got my spellbinders out for a play day!

I have yet to finish the inside...I have used the m bossability folder Dots is a wonderful A4 size....on the white card, the couture creations embossing folder Poinsettia on the strip of Kraft card, the holly border is a spellbinder die as are the poinsettia's ...cut out of crinkly Kraft paper, the holly accents are Marianne design dies....a few black beads and a creative expressions greeting embossed on the bottom....still wondering about adding glitter or is it time to step back from the card girls?

I am entering this into craftyhazelnuts christmas challenge...anything goes.

Polka Doodles Challenge..Embossing

Its time for the Polka Doodles blog Challenge and this week its Embossing....do go over to the blog site to see all the wonderful inspirational cards created by the team and have.... a go there are some fab prizes to be won.....

my card has been made using the fabulous papers from the sugarplum daisy cd....the card base and matting layers are all spellbinders, the flowers and leaves are all cut and embossed using the Marriane dies...the embossed sentiment is done using cosmic shimmer mica powders....and the edges highlighted using distressing ink     a little bit of bling to highlight .....hope you will join us for the challenge.

Christmas Card Club Challenge...roll up snowballs and glitter

Its the lovely Sue W turn to choose the challenge this week and I thought I would make a tag for a change.....

I have used a Molly Bloom stamp coloured with copics.....glittered with glitter glass....and the snowballs are from my stash....

My Friends Mothers 100th Birthday

Just back from a really great weekend celebrating my friends mothers 100th birthday and this is the card I made for her

I made a matching tag and gift bag.......
